Once upon a time...

worldofpossibility:

“I try to talk to you, but I don’t know what to say. I am afraid you don’t want me to say anything. So I don’t. But inside of me there are words waiting to come out.And tell you how I feel-like how I miss you. And how I love you despite my broken heart. And how I need you in my life. And especially how much I want you.But those words may forver stay in my heart-locked inside.Sometimes I wonder if there are words locked inside you too… but I’ll never know.”

worldofpossibility:

“It has occurred to me that I don’t have what it takes to be cool. I get too excited and love things too hard to convincingly pull off aloof glances and a world weary pose. I laugh a little too loud, and my hair never has, nor ever will possess effortless tousled perfection. My clothes sit a bit too conspicuously to pull off a sense of irony, I dance too often to music in department stores, and I spill too much food on my shirt. I’m addicted to cupcakes instead of cigarettes, some of my best friends are books, and I speak in funny voices to entertain myself. I’ll never have the aura of tangible coolness that wafts off of people like James Dean and Kate Moss and skinny Parisian ingenues. And you know what? I’m totally fine with that. Because I don’t think those kind of people spend enough nights dancing in the mirror spilling cupcake on themselves to really be having real fun anyway.”

Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it’s not because they enjoy solitude. It’s because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.

One of my co-workers asked me over to smoke, and she ended up persuading me to do ’shrooms. We popped a couple of caps, and the next thing you know we’re listening to The Postal Service and all this real emotional music. We just vibed out; it was intense. I wanted to make a song for girls without it sounding like A Song For Girls, you know? There need to be songs that females can connect with, because I love all women. Not like the average dude that loves women ’cause they like to fuck; I just love women as a whole. I love them, not just the fact that they have vaginas.
Kid Cudi in Complex Magazine, to which the interviewer responded, “That’s gonna get you some points, man.”
